America is home to many cultures and ethnicities. All the immigrants who make America their home bring their own culture to this land as well, which includes certain regional languages. Punjabi is a regional language which is being spoken in Pakistan and India. A Pakistani American poet published a book of Punjabi poetry which was launched in Baltimore,Maryland in a literary event. Saqib Ul Islam covers the event and talks to the poet and attendees about their experience of Punjabi language in America.
